Cairo Shootout belongs in a group of different genre’s with an arcade styled shooting gallery crossed with an egyptian game, the idea was to shoot a certain amount of tiles on the screen using the pointer, it even has some rather strange sounds to go with it.. Duane Blehm sadly passed away shortly after this release, hence the source code never being released. His parents decided that the game was to be released as Freeware, no limitations. Thank you Mr and Mrs Blehm, your son was a champ!

What ever happened to all these rather cool pacman clones??? I haven’t seen anything like bachman for a while, its got some really funky music and sound effects, naturally you have to turn them on before they’ll work. Bachman can shoot biscuits to hold his enemys off also various other powerups like teleporters appear and allow you to escape from the enemies. Made in psuedo-3D unlike all other pacman clones for its time, all flat and boring. Bachman deserves more than a gold medal, it deserves to be remembered for a long time!

Cary must have thought a lot about this game, it really is addictive. Why isn’t there anything like THIS anymore? The idea of desert trek is to ride a camel from one side of the desert to the otherBEFORE getting eaten by cannibals which the target is 1000kms, I assume the army is waiting for the cannibals on the other side and along the way you get thirsty, sleepy, hungry and unhealthy which you have to make up for by eating, drinking, sleeping and using elixir. There are also certain traps along the way, such as storms or pleasant Oasis’s to spend the night at. Don’t play this at work, you wont do any work! I used to play this quite a bit back in the day, I still like to play it every so often. So now i’ll go play it.
